SmartCity MA equips Moroccan municipalities with an integrated smart urban management platform — connected lighting, AI-optimised waste collection, and a citizen app — reducing municipal spending by 28%.
Morocco is investing heavily in urban modernisation through its National Sustainable City Plan. SmartCity MA addresses this with a modular urban intelligence platform: connected LED street lighting with presence sensors (45% saving on electricity bills), waste trucks fitted with fill-level sensors to optimise collection rounds, and a citizen app for reporting urban issues with geo-located processing — all controlled from a real-time municipal dashboard. Already deployed in Kenitra and Béni Mellal with documented budget savings of 28%. Our contract with the city of Agadir (400,000 inhabitants) is in the final stages. The €2.2M raise will fund 4 new municipal deployments and the development of our water/energy module.
