FoodTech SG produces high-nutritional-value alternative proteins through precision fermentation of mycoprotein fungi, targeting B2B food markets across Asia-Pacific at a production cost 40% below meat.

Protein demand in Asia-Pacific will rise 78% by 2040 as traditional livestock systems reach their environmental limits. FoodTech SG produces mycoprotein via precision fermentation in vertical bioreactors: the Fusarium venenatum fungus ferments on local agricultural substrates in 6 hours to produce a complete protein containing all essential amino acids, with 0.6 kg of CO2/kg vs 25 kg for beef. Our product is approved by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and food authorities in 3 South-East Asian countries. B2B contracts signed with 4 food manufacturers representing 800 tonnes/year of demand. Our 50,000 L pilot bioreactor produces 120 tonnes/month. The €3M raise will scale to 800,000 L and secure approval in Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
