BioTrack is a connected medical wristband and app that enables doctors to remotely monitor post-operative patients, reducing avoidable readmissions by 40%.
Every year in Belgium, 85,000 patients are readmitted within 30 days of surgery, generating €420 million in avoidable costs. BioTrack is the solution: a CE-certified medical wristband that continuously monitors 8 vital parameters (heart rate, SpO2, temperature, blood pressure, mobility) and transmits them in real time to a clinician platform with smart alerts. Our AI algorithm detects early signs of complications 18 hours before they become critical. Already deployed in 4 Belgian university hospitals, BioTrack reduced readmissions by 40% in clinical studies. We are seeking €1.2M to obtain FDA certification and accelerate commercialisation in France and the Netherlands.
