About the project
AgroSense equips farmers with low-cost IoT sensors and agronomic AI to optimise irrigation and fertilisation, and forecast yields with unprecedented accuracy.
Faced with the climate emergency and soaring input costs, French farmers need concrete, affordable tools. AgroSense offers a complete system of 6 solar-powered IoT sensors (humidity, temperature, pH, NPK) connected to an agronomic cloud analytics platform. Our machine-learning algorithm, trained on 15 years of weather and yield data, recommends irrigation and fertilisation actions in real time. In the pilot phase with 35 farms in Beauce and Brittany, we measured a 30% reduction in water consumption and an 18% increase in yields. The business model is based on sensor sales (40% margin) and a monthly SaaS subscription. We are targeting 500 client farms by end of 2025.
